Winners of 2nd Math and Chess Competition
The Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education (JCEE) hosted a math and chess competition for 108 students grades 5-8 from public and private schools and learning and community centers in Jordan.
The competition on Saturday, May 5th kicked off at 8:30am and concluded with the closing ceremony that evening in which 8 first place winners were announced.
This is the 2nd math and chess competition the JCEE has hosted since the program was introduced back in 2009 to strengthen math skills in middle school students through the game of chess.
