A Strategic Partnership to Broaden Community Giving Across Digital Platforms

February 03 2026

King Hussein Foundation has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Talabat Jordan, in a step aimed at expanding community giving through digital platforms and diversifying donation options for users of the Talabat application. The partnership further strengthens the Foundation’s developmental role in serving individuals and communities across the Kingdom.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Hana Mitri Shahin, Executive Director of the King Hussein Foundation and Mr. Saleem Hammad, General Manager of Talabat Jordan, in the presence of representatives from both parties.

Under this partnership, the King Hussein Foundation joins a network of civil society organizations available for donation through the Talabat platform, enabling members of the community to support initiatives that directly impact their lives within the Foundation’s integrated development model. These initiatives span education, health, livelihoods, and culture and the arts.

Donation options cover a range of initiatives with direct humanitarian impact, responding to the needs of the most vulnerable groups and opening pathways for learning, care, and empowerment. These include educational scholarships for outstanding students; specialized health and rehabilitation services such as hearing examinations, physiotherapy, and speech therapy and education; support for micro-enterprises for families; empowerment of youth initiatives, particularly environmental ones; as well as music education and music therapy programs that engage individuals at a deeper human level, offering space for healing, expression, and hope.

On this occasion Ms. Hana Mitri Shahin, Executive Director of the King Hussein Foundation, said:
“We believe that real change begins when we reach those most in need of support, and when we give the entire community the opportunity to take part in this role. This partnership expands access and transforms giving into a collective act that positively impacts individuals’ lives and contributes to building generations capable of participating in a more prosperous future.”

For his part , Mr. Saleem Hammad, General Manager of Talabat Jordan, stated:
“We are proud of our partnership with the King Hussein Foundation, whose efforts we have been keen to support in recognition of its important role, which aligns with our own social responsibility. Through our platform, which serves as an integrated digital ecosystem, we aim to enhance capabilities and contribute to empowerment and social growth.”

It is worth noting that Talabat Jordan enables support through its platform for a network of approximately 11 civil society organizations, in addition to implementing various community initiatives across vital sectors, with particular focus on food security, healthcare, child protection, family support, and empowering vulnerable groups, especially in the field of education.
